(2006) Diminishing Perspective was taken from tapes stored in Barry Dennen's personal collection. Each track is sung by Murray Head and accompanied by Murray also on guitar. The missing pieces of the musical were recorded this year by musicians including Tom Mason and Jay Camiolo. Lyrics by Barry Dennen, music by Murray Head. Original Announcement:
12.10.2004 - It has been announced that Diminishing Perspective, the album conceived and written in 1967 by Barry Dennen and Murray Head, will be released as a sort of a musical concept album in February, 2005.
Scott Kuchler of Fluxedo Arts had met with Barry Dennen and over a conversation rediscovered the project which had been abandoned when Murray and Barry interrupted their work to record Andrew Lloyd Webber's Jesus Christ Superstar. According to an auralfix.com release, the album could be followed by a New York staging later that year.
